Polka
Quiet Gentleman JW - 5/09/98 - 11/09/2009
Polka was a fabulous showman although a handful most of the time, he completely failed to live up to his show name being neither quiet nor a gentleman! He is still sorely missed here and I doubt the house will ever be quite the same again. He was definately a one in a million dog!
He won numerous awards in his career, the main ones being 2 Challenge Certificates and 2 reserve Challenge Certificates as well as making it to the last 3 at the Dalmatian of the year competition shortly before he was retired.
He also sired two beautiful litters of puppies for us here at Tafuta.
Left such a huge whole in our lives but we would like to thank everyone who though so highly of him especially Andrew Brace, Wendy Toynton & Chris Pickup. Also a special thank you
(I think!) to Chris Pickup who is responsible for getting me to show Polka & to Wendy for her support & encouragement over the years.
